Well, I did go to the school to read on Friday. But, I didn't read - Lexi totally took over and read three books to her class. Her little miss teacher attitude was all there :) I was really happy to see that she wasn't shy and was comfortable speaking and enjoying herself in front of the entire class. Her teacher this year has been awesome!!!!! I hope she gets a great teacher next year as well.
I stood in line this morning to get Lexi enrolled in the before and after school program. I got there at 5:30am and was the 20th person in line. There are approximately 800 students at the school and about 40 spots available for before and after school care. Can you believe that??? I am going to be celebrating Cinco de Mayo every year, for the next ten years, by getting up at 5am and standing in line at the elementary school !!!! I guess that's better than not celebrating at all :) And, I guess that means I will never be a SAHM. We recommended to the ladies doing enrollment to set a porta potty out front for those of us who get there and wait in line for 3 hours. But, I don't think they took us too seriously.
The baby hasn't been very active over the last week : ( I am 3 months along and, WOW, am I Big !!! My brother, Billy, called me yesterday and asked, "Are you having twins, cause I hear your really big?" And it wasn't only him, my co-workers, my family, my friends, strangers, and well, everybody has asked me this question. So, am I having twins? The sonogram only showed one little baby :) But, the constant question has raised a concern in my mind, which will be reiterated to the doctor on my next visit.
